SDC Services
Introduction

The State Data Center (SDC) is a shared services delivery and support unit. It provides standard information technology infrastructure to directly serve government entities.

Oregon government uses a shared utility business model, similar to that found in power, water and telephone delivery organizations.  This model allows state government to pattern itself after service providers like outsourcers in the commercial market.
The state leverages skills, resources and assets to reduce costs through economies of scale and standardized solutions.
