SDC Governance
Introduction
  The State Data Center is a shared services environment that provides computing, networking and voice technology to state agencies and their partner jurisdictions.
 
SDC governance is comprised of customer agency heads, CIOs, technical experts, and business stakeholders, as well as SDC staff and Department of Administrative Services (DAS) management.

SDC Advisory Board
 
The SDC Advisory Board serves as a forum where participants explore the full range of issues and alternatives associated with running a shared service data center. The Advisory Board is comprised of agency directors and actively addressing issues within the scope of its charter.
 
The Advisory Board values:
  • Collaboration to achieve results that mutually benefit SDC customers
  • Strong voice for agency business and technical representatives
  • Customer driven services
  • Accountability for performance
  • Transparency in operations and governance.

The Advisory Board is scheduled to meet monthly.

Rates are set by the SDC Finance Committee, a subgroup of the Advisory Board.

SDC CIO Advisory Board
 
The SDC CIO Advisory Board is an integral part of the overall SDC governance model. The board is comprised of agency chief information officers and supports the SDC Advisory Board.
 
The board, chaired by the SDC Administrator, provides a consistent forum needed to fully consider a wide range of SDC issues. This board is chartered and sponsored by the DAS Director, who chairs the SDC Advisory Board.
 

Schedule of Meetings
 
The CIO Advisory Board is scheduled to meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month.
