This is the first time that NASA artifacts have been made as widely available to other Federal Agencies and the public.

Libraries, Universities, Schools, and Non-profit Museums: if you would like to have an Astronaut Suit, Tile off the Space Shuttle, or many other NASA artifacts now is your chance. The first step is to determine if you are eligible and or if your eligibility is up to date. Below are links for the eligibility forms that you must submit to the Oregon State Surplus Department. The quick reference link is a list of the additional steps that will also need to be completed. Take a look at the NASA web site and see a sample of the artifacts available.

Services to Agencies and Organizations*

Vehicles and Equipment
Chevrolet Pickup
Eligible agencies can view descriptions and photos of fixed price vehicles and equipment, located nationwide, from the Federal Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management.
Federal Surplus Property Program
This program provides disposition services to federal executive agencies, as well as acquisition services to state agencies, local governments and qualified non-profit organizations.
State Surplus Property Program
This program provides property disposal services to state agencies and intergovernmental partners, as well as acquisition services to state agencies, local governments and qualified non-profit organizations.
Law Enforcement Support Organization (LESO)
The "1033" program allows Oregon law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to acquire surplus military equipment from the U.S. Department of Defense, and the "1122" program allows Oregon LEAs to take advantage of federal contracts when acquiring new law enforcement-related equipment & supplies.**

**An annual service fee applies to Oregon LEAs who wish to take advantage of this program.

The "General Store" at State Surplus Property is open to the public weekdays, excluding holidays, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Payment, Inspection and Removal of vehicles and other Internet auction property located at the Property Distribution Center is welcomed and encouraged during General Store hours. All items must be removed by 4 p.m. on the date purchased. Acceptable forms of payment include Cash (In person only), Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, and Visa/Mastercard (for personal property purchases only...cannot be used for vehicle or heavy equipment purchases). Personal\Business Checks are not accepted.
